DEAR FIT COMMITTEE
& PARTICIPANTS

The staff and children of the Child Crisis Center feel honored that we are fortunate enough to be able to celebrate each milestone tournament with the Fiesta Invitational Golf Tournament. We are grateful that such a dedicated group of golfers care so much about helping the children in our care. The 22nd Annual Fiesta Invitational Golf Tournament raised $120,300 for the Child Crisis Center. The FIT tournament continues to be the largest community driven fundraising event in the history of the Center reflecting the growth and success of your efforts. To date the tournament has raised over $787,780 for the Child Crisis Center and we are most appreciative of the collaborative efforts of the tournament’s committee in trying to continue to enhance this event year after year.

Proceeds helped to fund vital programming and services offered to children who are sheltered at the Center. This year’s “special hole” proceeds raised funds to buy new furniture for our shelter’s living spaces and a specialty feeding table for infants & toddlers. The money raised on the milk & ice cream hole provided the Crisis Center kids with a one year supply of milk and ice cream. The impact of the dollars raised over the years is tremendous and helps to continue funding the many services the Center is providing to children and their families.

Congratulations on your 2007 tournament! I know the success of the wine & cheese kick-off event will carry through to put you on track to have another record breaking event in 2008. We wish you continued success and are thankful for all that the tournament has provided us. With friends like you, we know that we will be able to continue our mission to provide the children of Arizona a safe haven from abuse and neglect.
